Skirt steak is one of the most flavourful cuts of beef, and even though it's also one of the tougher cuts with a lot of connective tissue, it's still a great steak for grilling. Skirt steak comes from either of two separate muscles inside the chest and abdominal cavity, below the ribs, in the section of the cow known as the beef plate primal cut.

Happy with this product. It is skirt steak, blots of gristle and needs to be cooked long and slow, curries, stews etc. but a tasty cut of meat.

I bought 1kg, cut up and portioned out to put in the freezer, cut off the worst of the gristle and kept as gravy beef. Got roughly four dinners worth of good chopped steak for our family of 2 adults and 2 preschoolers
