Cooking Tips

 Oven Baking:
A 1.6kg chicken may take around 1 hour and 20 minutes at 200°C (390°F).
Preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F) and cook for 10 minutes, then reduce to 180°C (355°F).
Cook until the juices run clear or the internal temperature reaches 75°C (167°F).
Rest the chicken for 5-10 minutes before carving.

BBQ Cooking:
Grill over direct medium heat, with the lid closed, for 40 minutes.
Flip and cook for another 15 minutes, or until cooked through.
Check for doneness with a thermometer.
